It lets people in the community come together to save and borrow money at affordable rates, and is operated on a not-for-profit basis, with the surplus being returned to its members.

Each member is encouraged to makes regular payments into a range of savings accounts. These funds then provide the basis for preferential rate loans to other members. The income generated by lending helps us meet our operating expenses. Our objective is to pay a dividend once the credit union is sustainable.
